Today, we’re diving into the Life Experience Number—also known as the Life Path Number.

(You’ll hear me use both terms interchangeably; they mean the same thing.)

Your Life Experience Number represents what you are here to learn, master, and embody in this lifetime. It reveals the energetic lessons your soul chose to experience in order to grow.

Out of all the numbers in your chart, this one is the most important.

Why?

Because you only get one birthdate—it’s immutable, unchangeable.

And when you learn to work with the lessons embedded in your Life Experience Number, life becomes more fluid.

Challenges still arise, but you navigate them with greater grace, strength, and alignment.

The vibration of 2 is all about emotional intelligence.

How to Calculate Your Life Experience Number

Here’s how you calculate your Life Experience Number:

1. Reduce the month, day, and year of your birth separately to single digits.
   
   
2. Add those three numbers together.
   
   
3. If the final total is not a Master Number (11 or 22), reduce it to a single digit.
   
   

Example:

Someone born on May 15, 1998 would calculate their number like this:

• May = 5
  
  
• 15 → 1 + 5 = 6
  
  
• 1998 → 1 + 9 + 9 + 8 = 27 → 2 + 7 = 9
  
  

5 + 6 + 9 = 20 → 2 + 0 = 2

Their Life Experience Number is 2.

Special Note on Decave Numbers

Sometimes when you calculate, you’ll end up with a double-digit number before reducing.

This is called a Decave Number, and it gives added depth to your chart.

In numerology, when interpreting Decave Numbers, we read the digits right to left.

For example:

• A 20/2 Life Experience Number reveals emotions (2) shaped by divine influence (0).
  
  The 0 represents the divine or source energy acting through the emotional nature of the 2.
  
  

This emphasizes the need for a spiritually grounded emotional life—learning to channel emotions constructively rather than being ruled by them.
